Getting to know me

I’m Jules Thine, an international yoga teacher.
At the age of 7 I was offered an opportunity to stop going to school.
I started practicing yoga, and several years later, I reached a level of physical ability and understanding of anatomy that allowed me to enroll into my first yoga teacher training.
Having graduated the training course at 14, I had become one of the youngest certified teachers in the world.

Whether you are a pro athlete, occasionally run, or spend more time on your computer than running marathons, I can help you achieve your goals. Yoga can be an awesome complement to your usual physical practice, allowing you to recover, gain in flexibility, and ultimately improve your overall performances. In addition it helps to prevent injuries! To give you an example, the All Blacks, Anthony Joshua and Novak Djokovic all practice yoga. Some say it's a remedy to stress, others to backache..
But let's be honest. Most of them just want to learn to handstand.

BREATHING​

I give one to one private breathing (pranayama) sessions with one goal in mind - releasing your tension, releasing your stress, allowing you to reconnect with the world around you. We will go through various breath techniques that will allow you to strengthen your immune system, relieve asthma, insomnia, improve digestion and blood circulation. Whether you want a relaxing breathing practice before going to bed, or an energising practice to start the day

If you are new to yoga, you might feel hesitant joining a group class.
The pace of the class might be unsuitable and make it difficult to keep up.
Practicing in a typical group setting might make you subconsciously compare yourself to other students, instead of focusing on your own practice, and the pressure to perform could be overwhelming.
In a private session, we take things at your own pace and progress in a healthy, non-competitive way.

In a private session you will be able to get my entire attention and focus.
As your private yoga teacher, I will be able to break down the alignment of each asana and offer multiple variations that allow you to access and safely perform each pose.

Making time for yoga is essential for a regular practice that offers consistent improvement. However, most classes in yoga studios, gyms and community centres are scheduled around the majority of the surrounding demographic.
But what happens if you work irregular shifts?
What happens if you have to juggle a freelance career or a busy household?
What if your work requires you to travel often?
With individually scheduled yoga sessions you can keep up with your weekly routine from wherever you are in the world.
